Hotel Boutique Botaniq

A lovely place, and the restaurant service was exceptional. If you bring a pet, pack its food and water bowls, bed, and other things, because the hotel doesn’t provide them even though it welcomes pets. The reception staff were okay, but they seemed to have trouble being friendly. They were never rude to us, though.

Service was the best part of the stay. The place was very clean, everything seemed new, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous. The massage we ordered was one of the best I’ve ever had. I just wish there were more anniversary or couples packages, and maybe some bath packages too.

We’d booked two nights, but left after the first because the stay didn’t meet our expectations. No one at the hotel spoke English, so we had to communicate with a translation app. We also found out only after arriving that there are rooms without windows, like ours. The Google Maps and booking photos showed only rooms with windows, and no one had told us about the difference. The hotel was very noisy, with roads at both the front and back, and we could hear the traffic during the day and at night. The bathroom badly needed renovation, and the sink was set too far back to use comfortably. Evenings were very cold, with no slippers or way to heat the room. Breakfast was served outside in the cold despite there being an indoor area. Very disappointing.

A great, exquisite place, and everyone was very friendly. It could use more staff.
