The river running through the area is so relaxing to listen to, and the forest setting is wonderful. We’ve stayed three times, once with our young children, who had a great time, and the other times as a couple. The cabins are rustic and very quiet, with fireplaces. There are insects, of course, since you’re right in the forest. We love the place and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys being in the woods.

We had a wonderful weekend there as a family, and would gladly stay again. The facilities feel welcoming, and our cabin had a fireplace, a Jacuzzi, and everything needed for a barbecue. The staff were attentive, the place was clean, and pets are allowed. We loved it.
The staff were very helpful and cleaned every day. They offered complimentary bread and coffee, though it wasn’t a full breakfast, and the food was good even if the restaurant service could improve. The temazcal requires a group of six. The unpaved road and non-luxurious cabins are worth knowing about, but the cabins are pleasant and equipped with a refrigerator, oven, coffee maker, and dishes. The pool is clean and well maintained, though it isn’t always open because it uses solar heating. The TV should be bigger for this kind of cabin, and its controls don’t work very well. The jacuzzi is worn but still works. It’s a good spot for a few quiet days away from the noise, and I recommend it.
They’re a little way from the center of Valle de Bravo, but the cabins are great for relaxing as a couple. Mine had a fireplace, and I asked for one with a jacuzzi, which was great. The service was very good. There’s a refrigerator and microwave, and some cabins also have a stove for cooking or warming food. Highly recommended.
I had to go along with their conditions because I’d already made plans, but I still don’t understand why they only take cash. It makes me wonder if they’re evading taxes. I don’t use cash or transfers, and although their advertising says those payment options are available, the manager called after I booked through Expedia to say they accept cash only. When I said I usually pay by credit card and didn’t think that was right, he arrogantly replied, “Well, if you want to cancel the reservation, no problem.” The place itself has a relaxed vibe and is nice, but parts of the facilities are neglected. The jacuzzi didn’t work, and when we asked, they made excuses that other customers had broken it and they’d fix it on Monday. Just excuses. They won’t admit they’re careless or pay attention to the details.
