The owner was really welcoming, and the place already has plenty of character even though work is still being done. I’d be curious to come back once everything’s finished.

It’s a small hostel, but it had what we needed: a clean, well-kept kitchen with a good fridge, a comfortable shared lounge, and a color TV. The neighborhood is laid-back and works well for early walks, with buses and taxis around and big chain stores just around the corner. The caretakers and management staff were wonderful. Thanks to both of them for a lovely stay.

I got here by car and found it in a rough neighborhood. From 8 to 11 a.m. today, April 24, 2025, I rang the doorbell and called 12 times, but nobody answered either. I’m glad I hadn’t booked online. Fellow travelers, I’d steer clear.

Even with a booking reference, I arrived to find they were full and couldn’t give me the room I’d reserved. They didn’t offer help finding another hostel either. The whole thing felt very unwelcoming.
