Hotel Acapulco

The service was nice, but the bathroom was really in bad shape.

For 750 pesos, four people can stay here. We had air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and parking, and you need your INE to check in. It’s comfortable and quiet, with a working bathroom and shower, though it isn’t luxurious. A good spot if you mainly need somewhere to rest and sleep, and I’d recommend it. They don’t give you blankets or anything to cover up with, but in the heat that wasn’t really needed.

We chose this hotel during Carnival because our usual place was full, and the rest of the stay seemed perfect. The place was simple but clean, and the receptionists were very friendly. But after the room had been cleaned, a pair of expensive pants my husband had just bought disappeared. They still had the tags on and he planned to wear them the next day. We didn’t want to make an issue of it with two days left, but I found it unacceptable. We travel to Veracruz often and have never had this happen at another hotel.

The towels smelled awful, and the managers got annoyed when I arrived after 10 p.m. They had terrible attitudes, like I was asking them for a handout. Getting an invoice was a real hassle too. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
