The bed and bedding were fine, and breakfast was basic but alright. The room itself was only so-so, with no shower door. I waited about 10 minutes past midnight for someone to open the garage door, which didn't feel safe.

Villahermosa isn't the prettiest city, ironically, though there's plenty to see. The hotel is nice and close to the pedestrian areas and squares in the centro.

The staff were really nice, and the place was fairly clean and pleasant. Still, the shower had no hot water and the construction felt cheap. We could hear everything in the hall, and the music from the strip club across the street kept us awake all night.

The room was alright, except it was missing the shower door. Service was also okay, but I was left waiting outside for over 10 minutes after midnight before they opened the garage. It felt pretty unsafe.

We liked the hotel and would book it again, though arriving was a bit of a mess. It's on a busy downtown street, and our reservation didn't mention the underground parking behind the hotel. I went inside to ask while my husband circled the block, and getting a response took longer because the lobby is up an elevator from street level. Once we got settled, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked. Breakfast was included and delicious: fruit salad, fresh juice, coffee, and eggs with beans, rice, and taco chips with cheese.
