The rooms are really nice. I didn’t mind the children playing in the yard that someone mentioned earlier. It made the place feel more lively.

The reviews praising the quiet must be from a different time or management. The current owners have very young children, and they naturally scream, cry, and shout a lot. From 7 am onward, there’s no peaceful time. I didn’t feel at ease using the shared garden or kitchen, and in my room I’d most likely need earplugs.

Getting in was easy at any hour with the key code, and the owners were wonderful. They keep the place very neat, too. I never expected such a calm, easy weekend right in the middle of Xalapa. I even took a few pictures of the room and bathroom. Fully recommended!

The house has the feel of a typical colonial-era home, and the rooms are comfortable and pretty clean. It’s right in the heart of Xalapa, across from a beautiful plaza, in a pretty quiet neighborhood. The guys working at the hostel are always kind and welcoming, with good tips on what to do. Amazing place to stay.

A cool, cozy place, with an open kitchen and garden. The beds were excellent, and I slept quietly. Staff were really helpful.
