Hotel Villa Las Margaritas Sucursal Centro

The rooms and decor are interesting, and the place is clean and pretty nice. The beds were really uncomfortable, though. Checking in was a disaster, even though I rented through Airbnb for WAY less than the counter price.

We arrived at 3pm, but the room still wasn't ready, although the hotel's check-in time is 2pm. Our room's TV also didn't work. The hotel and room are very nice overall. It's a good walk from the center, and the walk back is very steep.

The place was nice, and the employees, especially at the front desk, were attentive and clearly tried to provide good service. Still, I had three problems. My room wasn't cleaned on one of the three nights I stayed. They offered another room, but I didn't want to move all my things. On checkout day, kids were running all over, and while I was showering they opened my room door. I yelled from the shower and they took off. I'm not blaming the staff, but there should be rules for people renting the Hall upstairs. That was wrong and really uncomfortable. I also couldn't work from my room because the internet was awful, which was a real inconvenience since getting work done online matters a lot to me.

The walls were so thin we could hear everything happening in other rooms, and this is supposed to be a four-star hotel. We had booked a family-size room with a bathtub because of my back pain, but they gave us a room without one. We politely asked about getting a bathtub, and you can see in the pictures what we ended up with. Unbelievable. I can't recommend this hotel.
