I had a good stay, but I won't book here again. The location is great and I have no complaints about it. My room had no heater, which seemed ridiculous given how cold Zacatecas can get in fall and winter. The rooms feel a little old fashioned, and I expected something more modern. Service was okay, but both receptionists were rude and seemed like they hated their jobs. Lourdes, the woman who cleaned my room, was super nice and sweet.

Everything was fantastic, from the location and room to the underground parking behind the hotel and the staff. One thing to know: booking online saved us about 50% compared with what they tried to charge at the front desk, which makes no sense. We paid 910 pesos a night by reserving online.

The room itself was decent, with a good street view from the balcony, and the cleaning staff did an amazing job. But the reception and the person who might have been the manager made our stay extremely unpleasant. We had booked weeks ahead, yet on arrival they asked us to wait 30 minutes because the room wasn't ready. When we came back, the key card didn't work, and the room we were given was already occupied by another guest. We went down to complain and asked for a manager. The clerk just brought over a coworker who didn't say her name or position. She didn't apologize, kept rolling her eyes, spoke rudely, and walked away while we were still trying to talk to her. Horrible service, horrible staff.

There is NO parking here, even though I reserved a room with parking. The street was closed too, so I couldn't have loaded in even if I'd wanted to. The hotel told me to call Expedia to cancel, and Expedia sent me back to the hotel. I'm done with both of them.

The breakfast was fantastic, but the room felt dated, and I had real doubts about whether the linens were clean. I chose this hotel on Expedia because so few places in the city allow pets. When we arrived, though, staff made it very difficult for us to bring our poodle inside.
