We came with our three children because our son had a specialist appointment at the hospital the next day, after a major accident three days earlier. They said we HAD to book two rooms and split up the kids because they count children aged 11 and up as adults. Absolutely ridiculous. Who would leave two children alone in a separate room, especially when one had a serious facial injury and couldn't be left unattended? We asked for the manager's name and were told we couldn't have it. This hotel seems more interested in making extra money than keeping families together. They lost a customer.

The grounds were beautiful ❤️, the room was clean, and the staff were very nice. Breakfast was delicious too. Just know the bed is a spring mattress and was hard as a rock, so if that matters to you, I'd think twice.

The rooms were spacious, but the bathrooms smelled of mold. It was too noisy outside to open a window and air them out, and the walls were so thin we could hear the neighbors partying late. The website photos make the place look much more glamorous than it is. The pool area was grimy, the lounge chairs were old and rusty, and the gardens do NOT look like the Alhambra. We nearly missed our flight because our early morning airport taxi hadn't been booked. The night attendant was rude and too busy on his phone to help. The hotel is too far from the city center, and the busy road is noisy. I wouldn't stay here again.

I upgraded to a master suite but ended up with two queen beds. The drain smelled awful, the shower water wouldn't drain, and the balcony door wouldn't lock. The place was really outdated. Maybe it was a five-star hotel when it was built in the 40s or 50s, or whenever, but it isn't now. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
