I booked after Google Maps showed this hotel as pet friendly, but then learned that it isn't. Now I'm trying to cancel and apparently can't. The hotel told me to go through the booking site, but that site gives me no option to cancel. Feels like I've been screwed.

Nice location, good value, working hot water and good Wi-Fi. My room smelled a little dusty and felt somewhat old. I could hear a lot of roosters from inside, which was a problem in the early morning.

For the price, this is a great hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was basic, just a bed, but clean and with a working bathroom. The shower takes a while to get hot, though it wasn’t a big deal. The location is great. We left early, so we didn’t get to try breakfast, which started at 9am while we were there. I didn’t check the Wi-Fi speed, but it did work.

We had a family room with a good amount of space and comfortable beds. There was hot water, and the prices were excellent. It’s only 5 blocks from downtown. They accept pets for an extra charge, and the parking area is big.

The restaurant was closed during our stay, and our room had no Wi-Fi. We also ended up in a corner with very loud roosters nearby, apparently from a chicken coop behind that part of the hotel. The walls were thin enough that we could hear the neighbors loudly too. Looking at the hotel from the entrance, I’d avoid the back left corner. The hotel itself is in a great location, and the rooms seem nice and clean, with reliably hot water.
