The room and facilities were clean, but we got the last room available since we hadn’t reserved, so we took what we could get. There were no side tables, and you could only get into bed from one side. The sink was ridiculously small, with the faucet in the middle, which made washing my face difficult. The towels were very old, and the bottom sheet came loose overnight, so we had to put it back together somewhat. Our view faced housing under construction, and hammers and saws woke us at 8 am. I don’t know what the other rooms are like.

The staff were lovely, and some rooms have amazing views.

The location is excellent, and you can walk straight into the center of Zacatlán. Prices are affordable, and the place was clean and quiet, with very friendly service. Ask for the room with a terrace. It’s modern, spacious and comfortable, with a fabulous canyon view. It was absolutely silent inside, not a sound came through. One of the best places to stay. I can’t wait to come back!

The view is perfect, and we had wonderful weather. It’s a lovely place to unwind. Finding it can be a little tricky, but public transportation is close by and goes straight to the city center.
