The location is excellent, but the hotel needs some care and maintenance. The rooms are spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. In the bathroom, the shower door didn't close properly and the towel rack was missing its bar. The towels were old, some even had holes, and the paint outside was peeling.

There was no Wi-Fi during our stay, and the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. The breakfast was supposedly full, but every day it was just eggs, beans, and tortillas. The hotel has really gone downhill since our stay last year, and some walls in our room actually had mold. I was disappointed this time, and don't think we'll go back.

The buffet is just okay, but the steak a la albañil is fantastic. Their breakfast restaurant has quick, efficient service for menu orders, and the waiters are extremely helpful. The food arrives hot and tastes great. Good coffee too, plus alcoholic drinks for anyone hungover before a spicy meal.

The staff were nice, but the equipment in the rooms was old and the mattress was horrible. For the service they provide, I think it's too expensive. I’d never come back.

The breakfast buffet is good, and the professional staff always make us feel welcome. We’ve stayed there when third parties came to Guadalajara.
