Hoteles Hi

We spent the whole night hot and uncomfortable in a tiny room. The AC quit two hours after we arrived, and nobody at the hotel could fix it then. They opened the window, but there was no ventilation or fan, and the street noise came right in. The room was so small, there was water on the floor, and no soap in the shower. When we complained again the next morning, someone fixed the AC in minutes, then walked off with a “good day” and no sympathy or offer of help. The cheap price wasn't worth it. Never again.

I came to the area for surgery and picked this hotel because it was near the hospital. I'd booked just the night before, paid cash for three nights, and then found the rooms were smaller than college dorm rooms. I needed massages and a special bed for my recovery, so they wouldn't work. The larger, more welcoming rooms shown by the lobby entrance turned out to be at the hotel across the way, intercity hoteles, their sister property. I asked to cancel or move over there, but was told I needed to give 24 hours' notice. That wasn't possible after booking the night before. They also refused to refund my cash, saying they had no way to return cash to a client. At the sister hotel, a kind and understanding receptionist contacted hoteles hi, since the two work together. The manager Jose said he could refund only two nights, not the third, because I was outside the refund window. He said the refund would take 10-15 and had to go to a Mexican account, even though I'd paid cash and was traveling from the US. There was no care or interest in accommodating my surgery and medical needs. The customer service was horrible, and I won't recommend it to friends or family, several of whom are traveling here for surgery too.

Abigail and Luz were so kind and helpful, and the service was 10/10. The rooms were really nice and just right for me. I hope I see them again on my next visit.

The employees are polite and nice, and the rooms stay clean and organized. It's a good, cheap place for a few days, though the rooms are small, not very comfortable, and you can hear people next door through the walls. You get what you pay for, and overall it's a great place.
