Villas Mercedes

We spent six days at Villas Mercedes and came away with nothing but good memories. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and getting around was easy with a taxi stand and minibuses nearby. The little street has plenty of restaurants and bars, but it still felt like a break from the crowds. La Madera Beach is close, and back at the hotel we could relax by the lovely pool or in the quiet yard. Lots to enjoy, and we'd happily recommend it.

The staff, especially the night watchman, were really nice. The hotel is tucked away from the noise but close to good restaurants. My room was a bit small, though the hidden kitchenette was handy. The terrace and view were okay, and the pool was warm as tea. Using the outdoor kitchen by the pool costs 250 MXN. I left with a good impression and would recommend it.

We come back every year, so book early since the nine rooms fill up fast. The upstairs rooms have beautiful views, and the staff are attentive and always willing to help. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, and you're close to everything. There's also a pool if you'd rather stay in than head to one of the many nearby beaches.

I only stayed one night and paid 850 pesos, but I wished I could have stayed longer. The room was spacious, with a balcony facing the pool, a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave, and several large closets. The air conditioning worked well and the water was hot. There's parking and a pool, and the landscaping looked beautiful. For that price, I was really impressed.
