We loved waking up to the sea view from our balcony, watching whales jump in the morning and enjoying the sunset. The room was cleaned and the beds made every day, and the staff were amazing. There’s an outdoor kitchen for cooking and free breakfast too. The stairs were a bit of a challenge at first, but we got used to them and got our daily exercise. We’d recommend this place to everyone!

The pool is lovely, with great views over the beach, and the tucked-away setting is quiet enough to hear the ocean without much noise at night. Breakfast was light and delicious, with coffee included. Our beds were comfortable, and the clean rooms were refreshed each day. Service was amazing from the moment we arrived, and I’d book here again. A few small things in the rooms need fixing or touching up, though, so they fell short of five stars for me.

They said on WhatsApp that I could pay in person since I couldn’t arrange a transfer to Mexico, then cancelled on me at the last minute and were rude about it. Very inconsiderate, poor service. I wouldn’t trust them with my vacation time.

The staff are really friendly, and having the beds made each day and room service was a nice touch. The rooms are spacious, but the decor feels tasteless, the floors are rough and not very clean, and the bathroom smells. The pool was so dirty I couldn’t see the bottom. In the bathroom, the shower barely has pressure, the sink is tiny, and its shell 🐚 tap sprays water everywhere. The taps are awkwardly placed, and there’s nowhere to hang towels or clothes except inside the wardrobe, where things can’t dry. The bright LED lights are harsh, and a bedside lamp would help a lot. The kitchen is outdoors, which is fine. It’s fairly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

We booked in January for an April stay, then found out only when we arrived that they’d cancelled our reservation because of “overbooking.” It was the busiest long weekend in town, so that was a rough surprise. Luckily, we found the only other hotel with a room, and it turned out to be an upgrade. Be wary!
