It's in a great location, but the place was extremely nasty. There were flies and vagrants at the entrance, and the front desk wasn't helpful. My room's bed cover had burn holes, and they were replacing the tile right outside my window. I checked out an hour after getting the keys, but they wouldn't refund me. Don't stay here.

The workers are really friendly, and some speak English. You also get a full breakfast for free and good WiFi. If you're on a tight budget, it's a safe, clean place to stay.

The attached restaurant is good. As for the hotel, unless you're absolutely desperate, don't go.

Just okay, and be aware it's mostly a by-the-hour hotel, with overnight stays capped at three hours. They'll give you a room, but don't expect much. Sometimes the hot water doesn't work. There's no concierge or room service, and there's a $5 key deposit. It's not really close to anything, so I'd avoid staying here.

They've upgraded several of the rooms, and I didn't see any roaches. Breakfast is awesome, and you get local San Diego channels like CBS, NBC, ABC, and KUSI. I'd recommend staying here.
