We urgently needed somewhere nearby for just a few hours, and found this place at the last minute. The room was clean and comfortable, and they let us check in late.

We’ve stayed here twice and would likely come back if we visit Penang again. It’s conveniently located for exploring Kek Lok Si and Penang Hill, and the price is reasonable. Comfortable Stay (Michelle) gave good, responsive service. The beds were clean and the rooms have attached toilets. Please excuse the photo, it was taken just after our stay. Recommended for anyone visiting the area.

The owner is lovely, the price is reasonable compared with other places, and our deposit was returned quickly. The place is clean and well kept, in a cozy, tourist-friendly area that feels secure. There’s a food court, temple, bank, police station, and bus station nearby. Highly recommended.

The surroundings feel safe for women, and the owner is friendly. Service was good, and the location is convenient near Ayer Itam. The one issue was the water heater, which wasn’t working properly. Maybe the owner could check it. Otherwise, everything was good.
