Hotel Rembia

I stayed for 2d1n, and check-in was easy with a helpful front desk. Parking is convenient, and there’s a 24-hour 7 eleven on the same row. The toilet was clean, water pressure and heater were okay, and the air conditioning worked fine. The downside is traffic noise after midnight, since it’s right by the main road, Lebuh Amj. If you’re okay with that, everything else was fine and worth the price. Seems good for a solo traveller or couple on a short stay.

My room faced the road, and the noise kept me awake for almost the whole night. There’s no soundproofing, so I could hear traffic from the busy nearby road as well as people coming and going around the hotel and its rooms. I hope they improve the soundproofing.

The room felt stuffy, with no ventilation, and the smoke smell from whoever stayed there before lingered all night. It was really lousy and not worth the high price, especially compared with Hotel Golden Vally. I won’t stay here again. There was only one working plug, so we had to take turns charging a phone and using the hair dryer. The other outlet was broken and they couldn’t be bothered to fix it. The air conditioning remote was faulty too, and I had to complain to get a replacement. No cup, kettle, toothbrush, or toothpaste, just soap. There was only one pillow per bed. The shower got only mildly hot. The next day, someone knocking on the wall while fixing other rooms was totally annoying.

This place is very convenient for families with someone who is handicapped. Mrdiy is on the right, and 99spdmart and 7eleven are on the left. The Laundry dobby is right across the road. At night there’s a restaurant open past 99 speedmart, if I’m remembering right.
