The village setting and nostalgic feel reminded us of P. Ramlee films, and we really enjoyed that atmosphere. But the room leaked during heavy rain and strong wind, leaving water pooled inside and making our stay very uncomfortable. We also had no hot water because the heater wasn’t working. Housekeeping didn’t clear the trash or replace towels even after we asked, and leftover food from previous guests in the fridge smelled awful. We hope resort management takes this feedback seriously. The place has potential, and it would be a shame not to maintain or improve it.

The pillow was much too hard for me, though the resort itself has a lovely classic, traditional feel. It’s surrounded by nature, in a strategic location, and makes a really nice getaway spot.

The room and toilet were clean, and the staff provided great service. I visited during peak season, so the higher price was understandable. I had a good stay and would recommend it to people visiting Pengkalan Balak.

The beach is only a few steps away, and even though it was a little crowded, we still had a nice stay. Our room was clean and cozy, and the staff were polite and helpful.

The room was comfortable and I really liked the classic theme. Everything else was very nice, but the jacuzzi didn’t work and wouldn’t fill with water.
