The hotel seems past its best, but for the price, including breakfast, I think it's worth it. Breakfast was modest but nice. If you expect more, you'd need to stay at a five-star place. I was pleased with my stay despite a few small inconveniences, and I'll come back when I'm in town.

I liked the peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff, and Aman mall and some well-known local food spots are within walking distance. The hotel itself is old, and the room could have been cleaner. Dust had collected on the top cabinet, the blanket was pilled and uncomfortable, and the toilet didn't flush properly. Breakfast was basic, with no eggs.

In Alor Setar, the hotel is close to almost everything the city has to offer. One of the best three-star hotels.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with the essentials like a fridge and kettle, and a simple breakfast is included. The hotel is dated and needs upgrading, though it must have been grand once. The bathroom was the main problem for us: it wasn't clean enough, had no shower curtain, and needs a full renovation. We couldn't feel comfortable using it, which is why I gave two stars.

A classic hotel in town, and it's been kept in good condition.
