The rooms were nice, and we had a really fun, relaxing 3 days and 2 nights. I’d recommend staying here if you want to unwind and enjoy yourself. My only suggestion is to raise the beds a little so older guests can lie down more comfortably. Otherwise, it was perfect.

The owner left complimentary drinks and light snacks, which was a nice touch. The homestay was clean, well furnished, and had everything we needed. The family area gets quite hot in the afternoon, so an air cooler there would make it even better. Everything else was excellent.

The house was kept clean and tidy, and the price is reasonable, so I’d recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a place to stay in Aloq Staq. The owner, a young teacher, told me we’d be their last guests of the year because they planned to spend about a month upgrading the property and building a pool for families with children. Good investment, Cikgu. Tahniah..👍👍👍

My kids had a blast in the pool, which was the best part for them. The house was very clean and had more than enough facilities. The owner was friendly and always tried to give customers the best experience. Very highly recommended.

The host kept in touch during our stay to check that everything was okay, and had cold drinking water ready in the fridge, plus snacks. That was especially thoughtful in the hot weather. The affordable house has three air conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with hot water, though Alor Setar is so hot that we didn’t really need it. There’s also a gas stove and kitchen utensils. A great choice for families with children.
