New Wave Hotel Nilai H-2

The room photos don't match what you find there, and there were mud cockroaches everywhere. Most disgusting hotel of my life. I left right away, after an hour and a half. Never use this hotel's services.

It was 1 in the morning, I was already in the room, and the receptionist came back to say my booking had been cancelled. He told me I had to pay another RM60 just to sleep there, even though I'd booked a month earlier and paid RM80. When I showed him my booking details on my phone, he took a photo of them, with no computer involved. They only accepted cash, no cards, and there wasn't a bank or ATM nearby. By then it was already 2 in the morning. I had to use Grab to get to the nearest ATM and pay him. I also asked about getting my RM80 refunded. He said Agoda would refund it the next day, and luckily the receptionist in the morning knew what to do about my situation. Honestly, it's like someone posted this hotel online but they check guests in with just a pen and book. No computer. My point is: this is a dumb hotel when it's 2024, please learn to use IT and computers. The staff need speech classes too. I'm not a racist, but the receptionist who started the problem was a Bangla who didn't speak basic Malay or English. I could tell he understood me 10% and struggled 90% to explain himself. Please delete the hotel from online platforms. What use is that if you have no computer to check customers in or take the money from Agoda? P. S. Don't book this hotel online. They will definitely say it's cancelled, but in my case they only told me after I was already inside the room.

It's a basic hotel, and very budget-friendly. I'll come back.

For RM70 you get a queen bed room without a window. It's a cheap hotel, and a-okay if you just need a good night's sleep after long hours of outstation work.
