Hotel Seri Nilai

For RM50, the single room was nice for one person and had good equipment. The hotel is an easy walk from Aeon Nilai, with lots of local restaurants nearby, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed one night. The only reason I took off a star was the blanket, which seemed to irritate my skin. Maybe it was just me, but I couldn’t sleep well for about two hours.

The location was convenient, with several shopping places nearby, and the service was okay. It’s an old, four-storey hotel with no lift. The TV only had local channels. There’s a kettle in the room and a water dispenser by the stairs. Parking is on the street and costs money, though it’s free on Saturdays and Sundays. Take care booking through Agoda, since it only offers a four-hour stay, then charges an extra RM20 per night. I wouldn’t really recommend it.

The room and bathroom were clean, the AC worked well, and the staff were very friendly. But you can hear everything from other rooms through the thin walls. There’s no elevator or refrigerator, and the closet only has hangers, with no shelf or other place for clothes. Still, keeping the low budget in mind, I’d recommend it 👍

Check-in was quick, and the rooms were comfortable and clean, with enough room for solat. The price felt fair, there was plenty of parking, and the hotel is set back from the main road. Aeon Nilai is opposite, about a two-minute walk away, so meals and shopping are easy. Make sure you have your digital vaccine certificate. The hotel was operating during MCO with a permit from MITI. Highly recommended.
