T Hotel Jalan Sultanah

There's plenty of car parking, and the hotel is in a strategic spot near Exit Toll Alor Setar Selatan. Just be aware that there isn't a fridge.

Stayed 14-16/2/25. The room was small but good enough for the price, and the hotel was clean. There's no lift, so you'll need to take the stairs. Downstairs in the same building are restaurants serving chicken rice, satay, char koey teow, and other food, so you won't go hungry. We stayed two nights, but nobody came to make up the room on the second day. I guess you have to request it. There's a water dispenser and a small shared area for ironing.

After a long drive, this was a good place to rest. The rooms are on the first and second floors, and the bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. It was clean, and the front desk was friendly. Getting in isn't so nice, though: you have to walk past the smell and smoke from satay cooking on the ground floor 🤣🤣🤣.

It's a new hotel in Alor Setar with a cheap rate. The room was small and had no carpet, but the hot shower and air conditioning worked well. It's on the first floor, reached by a narrow staircase. Food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner is easy to find nearby on foot.
