Reizz Residence

This was the worst accommodation I’ve stayed in, and I won’t come back. It looked great on Airbnb, but the actual apartment was completely different. There was no fan, dust covered the floor and just about everything, and the air conditioning was dusty and didn’t cool properly. The kettle was rusty, the sheets and blankets were dusty, and the toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly, with a clogged drain too. Highly not recommended!

The nice view and the ground-floor café were the best parts. The café had great food and staff, which earns an extra star, but I wouldn’t recommend this as an Airbnb stay. The apartment wasn’t good: it was meant to be a two-bedroom, yet the second room felt more like a servant’s room, and there was only one compact bathroom. One bedroom had a small mirror and the other had none. Appliances were only somewhat functional, and the living room AC was broken. We were lucky the weather wasn’t hot, or it would’ve been uncomfortable. I think the unit was on the 33rd floor, somewhere around the middle floors. Getting in was rough too. We arrived from the airport in heavy rain, with some flooding on the road, and security guided us to the lobby after checking our booking. But the apartment keys were missing from the lockbox. Staff said it would take a while and didn’t seem helpful until we got stern with them. A very bad experience.

The building has ongoing issues inside and out. Plumbing seems poor, and bathroom outlets and windows facing the corridors leave a bad smell there. The lifts can be a problem too, with one of the three often out of service and causing delays at busy times. People in the complex can get very noisy and ill-behaved, and the pool is sometimes unhygienic when Air B n B guests misuse it. Outside, there’s a fire lit every night at the construction site opposite Reizz residence, creating smoke and heat. Trucks honk, grinding trucks crowd into the lane and cause traffic jams, and the construction leaves a lot of dust in the rooms.

It’s about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown, or roughly a 50-minute walk if you like walking. The location is fantastic, with a good grocery store nearby and easy access around the area. There’s parking, round-the-clock security, and plenty of elevators, so we didn’t have to wait. The apartments are great, with a nice pool and sauna. The small gym definitely needs updating.
