For a quiet budget hotel, it’s good value. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean but small. The sheets were clean and coloured rather than white, and the clean towel wasn’t very thick. Soap, shampoo, body lotion, and a shared hot and cold water dispenser were provided. There’s a mamak restaurant and a Thai-style restaurant nearby, serving Thai dishes including mango sticky rice, capati, sticky rice with fried chicken, and serawa durian. A 7-Eleven and a self-service laundromat are also close. Can’t expect too much at this price.

I’d already booked a room, but when I arrived to check in, they said it had been given to someone else. I asked them to sort out the problem, but they said they had no responsibility and that I should handle it myself. What a bad motel.

I booked at the last minute with a discount and chose to pay at the hotel. When I got there, customer service said they don’t accept online bookings because the price was too cheap, and they only take walk-in customers 🙃. I think oyo should close its online business with this hotel.

20/12/2020. I booked through Agoda. The hotel is cheap and clean, near C Mart Mall Arau, but the WiFi is very slow. Checking in today before heading back to KL by ETS train tomorrow.

The water pressure is low, but everything else is perfect, including the heater. The area is good, with several restaurants, fast food places, and even a supermarket, all in the center.
