There’s an EV charger outside, which should put drivers at ease, and the refill station is by the lift. The room is roomy, has the basics, and offers a plug beside each twin bed. I also liked that the shower has its own section and the water pressure was fine. The mattress cover had a visible stain, though, so the laundry cleanliness needs attention. You’ll need RM50 in cash for the check-in deposit.

The room let the stay down. I found large clumps of dust under the beds, and the sheets didn’t seem very clean either. I hope they improve the room cleaning. Everything else was fine. ☺️

For five people, the family room was really comfortable and felt like good value. It has two rooms, each with its own bathroom: one has a queen bed, and the other has a queen plus a single.

Ms. Tamil and the whole team, from housekeeping to security, were so courteous and ready to help. Their hospitality made me glad we chose Aurora Boutique Hotel, and I’d happily stay again. My business partner and I were in Bahau April 20-22, 2025, for an important assessment at a top manufacturing company. Although the hotel is rated three stars, the service felt like five. The room was cozy and well equipped for one person, with shops and places to eat a short walk away, plus plenty of parking.

The location is nice, but things in the room don’t always seem to get cleaned properly. Sometimes items like a towel or toothpaste are missing. It makes me feel like I’d be better off renting a homestay.
