Lis Na Ree Resort

Not recommended for a stay as things stand, though it could be better. We spent two nights with our whole family, and people kept karaokeing until midnight both nights. It was frustrating from day one, especially after driving three hours from home to get there. Several swimming pool tiles were chipped, and I saw a child cut their foot and bleed. For what we paid, we could have stayed somewhere better.

We booked almost the entire resort for a family event, but the stay was horrible. My room had mold all along the side of the wardrobe, which management hadn’t bothered to clean. The sliding door was covered in dirt and fingerprints, and a pipe was rusty. You can imagine the color of the water that came out. There were also loads of cockroaches and other bugs in my room and in other rooms. I won’t even get into the food package we paid for. They promised a lot, but failed to handle the most important thing, hygiene. If you stay here, bring a few bottles of mineral water to rinse with after brushing your teeth.

The room was okay, just a little old and untidy.

We booked 25 rooms, and almost all had the same issues: a bad smell, a water heater that didn’t work properly, a dirty toilet bowl, and broken things around the room and bathroom. Pool tiles had come loose in lots of places and cut my niece’s toe. The pool water wasn’t clean either. At 4 am on the second day, most rooms lost electricity. They should have a generator or some other backup. There were other problems too that I don’t want to write about here.
