There wasn’t anyone at reception when we checked out, just a cleaner. When we asked about the hot water, he brushed us off and said it would only be available at 10 a.m. That made bathing our baby difficult. The bed was in awful shape too, and both my husband and I had back pain. We were extremely dissatisfied, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to families with young children.

The road noise was unbelievable, even with the window closed. Sirens, lorries and motorcycles kept coming through. I thought one night would be okay, and booked because the online reviews looked fine, but this place is awful. The room also looks like nobody has bothered fixing it. Don’t come here.

I wouldn’t recommend it for business trips. There’s no housekeeping, so after a meeting I came back to find no towel and no cleaning. You have to get your own towels, and there isn’t even a sign in the room telling you how to request a cleanup.

We booked at the last minute because this place was closer to our shooting location. The room was small, but okay for two, and the washroom was comfortable enough. The air-conditioning worked well. There’s no food at the hotel, but plenty of good restaurants nearby, including places serving food 24 hours. If you need a room in a hurry or are travelling around, it could work for a night.

The room smelled terrible, with a strong mothball smell, ubat gegat, that even got into our clothes. The towel was clean, though. The room size worked nicely for our family of three, and the location was perfect, close to places to eat.
