OYO 90235 Hotel Inap Sri Gombak

We stayed February 22-24, 2025. The nearby restaurants, convenience stores, and cafes were the main plus. Inside, the toilet door needs fixing, the mattress was so thin that my back hurt after two nights following tiring activities, and the air conditioner was dusty, filthy, and not cleaned. Its direction flaps were broken too. You can hear everything through the walls. I understand it's a budget hotel, but the outside areas could at least be tidied up. I'm trying not to book here again.

The staff were lovely, always friendly and smiling, and the room itself was good. I could hear the people next door talking and singing, though, so the soundproofing loses a star. It's a budget place, and I wouldn't recommend it for a couple wanting to spend time together. If you just need somewhere to sleep, I'd recommend it. Thanks for the service 🙏🏻

I had a sleepless night here. The stairs were piled with mattresses, the walls were dirty, and the room smelled bad. The toilet was blocked and the heater didn't work. There weren't basic things like a kettle or toiletries, and the ironing room was locked. Cleanliness and service were both zero. When I asked the receptionist, they said, "I also don't know why I'm working here" 🤔. I felt misled by the good reviews. Management needs to take customers' health and safety seriously.

I booked two rooms a month in advance, and both were available then. But at 3 p.m. on the day of arrival, just five minutes before check-in, staff called to say one room wasn't available due to technical issues. I was already parked outside the hotel. They said they'd arranged another hotel about 20 minutes away, and asked us to stay there. It was inconvenient, and we still paid the same amount even though the replacement didn't feel worth the price. They sent us to a hotel at Idaman. The air-conditioner remote was broken and stuck at 16, the TV didn't work, there was no hook in the shower area for towels or clothes, and the toilet smelled awful. I booked Hotel Inap for its location, not another hotel. They should have prepared the room earlier or offered us another room, and kept a room available for emergencies instead of transferring guests. I wish they'd offered a discount for the trouble or a discount on a future stay, but they offered nothing. I'm very disappointed.
