Sky Hotel Selayang

I was doing a seven-week attachment at Hospital Selayang, too short a time to rent, while Airbnb and homestays were too expensive. I visited this hotel and quickly booked when they offered rates by the week or month for long stays. The staff were very helpful. I could order Grab and Shopee deliveries, and mail was received safely. You can also request room cleaning during a longer stay. A dispenser with normal, hot and cold water is available in the corridors. My room was clean and spacious, though it had no window. The air conditioning, water pressure and heater all worked well, and there was a TV, kettle, mug and free bottled water. Hospital Selayang is less than 1KM away on foot, with a pedestrian bridge along the route. Walking there and back was a good daily walk, and I didn't have to worry about parking, parking fees or traffic. Guests park on the rooftop, the 4th floor. For food, I always ordered from rajaaz kitchen at the main entrance. Portions were big, and the food was tasty and clean. The Wednesday evening pasar malam near Selayang Mall is worth checking out too, and both spots are an easy walk. I highly recommend the hotel, except that

It took a while to locate the hotel since it's inside the building on level 3, and you have to take the lift. Once there, I found the room spacious and clean, and the service was good. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

A comfortable stay in an affordable, clean room with no bad smell. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great, especially if you have an appointment at Selayang Hospital.
