MN Ferringhi Inn by OYO Rooms

My family and I enjoyed staying in this very clean, well-kept unit. The owner was trustworthy, and the price was very reasonable.

The room had air conditioning and a hot-water shower, and the price was reasonable. Ferringhi Bay beach is an easy walk away, so the location is very good.

The location is very strategic, about five minutes on foot to Ferringgi Bay and close to pasar malam. There's no hotel parking, but free spaces are available behind the shop lot. We got water from the refillable filter, and the room had cold-enough air conditioning, a water heater, and free wifi. Still, don't expect much from a 2 star hotel. At least it's better than sleeping on the street. We booked two rooms. On the first day my kids left the key card in the room and locked the lock, and my key for room 2306 could open room 2305. What a convenient bit of luck! The room condition was very bad, though. Mine had a connecting door to the next room and no soundproofing. The Indian couples next door sang and played the radio very loudly at 1am. The double bed came with a single-person blanket. Paint was peeling from the wall, and there was no fridge, cupboard, or toothbrush. Shampoo and body wash were the same shared type, and the hotel lobby smelled bad. The room had one white ceiling light along with a red light.

I booked a hotel for an outing with my family and went to check whether the place was safe. The room and hotel smelled really bad, and the room condition was not good. I was very disappointed. I couldn't stay there even for a second, and I'm still traumatized by the experience. Luckily I cancelled the booking on the spot and booked another hotel nearby. Please check carefully before booking this hotel. It was very bad, and I don't think it's safe for children.
