For me, the best part was how honest and helpful the host of B Hotel was. We were already on our way to Hatyai when I realized I’d left my phone in the room. The host contacted us and kept it safe until we came back to collect it. I really appreciate that service and honesty, and it matters more to me than the other shortcomings. My family and I stayed one night because we needed an early van from the Sungai Nibong Petron pickup point. This was the closest and cheapest hotel we found. I know there are bad Google reviews, but for the price, my experience was worthwhile. I didn’t expect perfection at the cheapest rate. The bed seemed to have bricks under it, but the room was clean and comfortable enough, cool from the air conditioner, and had hot water. I slept well. I can’t give the room five stars, but I’d stay another night when we need to be in the area.

The bathroom was filthy and unhygienic, and the dirt seemed to cover everything from the floor to the ceiling. The location is poor too. There were stains on the sheets, and the bed made a lot of noise. This was the worst hotel I’ve experienced, and I’d never recommend checking in here. I don’t know why it’s still operating.

There are plenty of food stalls and eateries within about 500m, so the location is good. The room itself isn’t for anyone fussy. Noise from the corridor came through clearly, and light got under the door, so I had to use an extra bath towel to block it. The toilet flush in room 207 didn’t work, though I’m a DIY sort of person and managed it myself. On the plus side, the air conditioner was clean, and so were the towels and bed. The video I attached shows what I mean.

The room was the main letdown. It was smaller than the Agoda listing suggested, with dirty walls and poor upkeep. The receptionist was friendly and answered my questions well. The place is also conveniently located, fairly close to the airport and with eateries around the corner.

The room was too small for the price, and there are cheaper budget hotels in better condition. Mine had mold on the ceiling and headboard, and the toilet was narrow, with the bowl in the middle so the door couldn’t open or close fully. The TV had no signal. The air conditioner worked, but there was no remote, so I used an app on my phone to control it. They did provide free drinking water, soap, and hot water. The receptionist and lift service were good.
