The staff weren’t very welcoming, and they didn’t offer help even though I had luggage and a child with me. The floors could have been cleaner, and the bathroom was awkward: there was no shower curtain, and the shower space was so tiny that the floor got soaked. With the stairs and the fireworks late at night during the pre-Chinese New Year period, it may not suit families with babies. We found the key pickup and drop-off easy. The loft area was cleaner, and the extra charging cables were a thoughtful touch. We also appreciated the free Netflix account, which my four-year-old really enjoyed. The stay was comfortable and convenient overall, but this quiet residential neighborhood made it hard at first to get a Grab to Queens Waterfront and Queensbay Mall in the evening.

Comfy, clean place at a reasonable price. The TV has Netflix, there’s free Wi-Fi, and it’s near Kayu.

We had a spacious, clean family room with a nice city view. It’s split across two levels, with the bedroom upstairs, and the metal staircase gets loud when people walk up and down it. There’s a microwave, cutlery, sink, kettle and a nice bathroom, plus a TV, couch, ironing board and iron. We had a great stay.

I arrived at 8:10 p.m., just after reception had closed before 8:00 p.m., and there was nobody to help. I couldn’t reach anyone by phone, and had to find another nearby hotel. There were no reminder calls or messages about late check-in, and they wouldn’t refund me. The parking area also felt dark and unsafe at night. With so little customer support and such inflexible policies, this was the worst experience I’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend this homestay.
