Finding a parking spot was a hassle, and the hotel has no private parking. Public parking is free on Sundays, but from 8-5pm on the other days you have to pay. I booked a standard twin room through agoda at a great discount. There were no bed bugs, and the basic manual door lock felt safe. The room had working AC and hot water in the shower, plus a hair dryer, kettle, coffee sachets, clean towels, and small toiletries. There's a lift. The location is convenient for the food court and wet market in the town center.

The room was comfortable with a very good view, and the service was really nice. I did spot a cockroach in the bathroom, which is why I wouldn't give the room a full five stars. I left my plushie seal behind, but the staff got it for me just as I was about to leave. That was very kind. I'd like to come back for a vacation someday.

The location is the one real plus: the hotel is opposite the morning market, and famous spots like Thong Kee, TAK Ice Cream, Tauhu Auntie Mok, and Yat Heng Kopitiam are a 5-10 minute walk away. But room 213A faced the street and was so noisy at night that we didn't sleep at all. We also found lizard droppings on the bed, right under the pillow. We asked for fresh sheets, but the cleaner was off duty, so all they offered was a blanket cover sheet. The lift was under maintenance, so anyone traveling with seniors who struggle with stairs should think twice. Parking is by the roadside. From Monday to Saturday, 8am-5pm, you can pay using the GoPahang app, or buy a parking booklet. We got ours at 7-11 for RM5. There's also a state government hotel fee of RM3 per night, payable on arrival.

The location is handy, right across from Bentong Market for breakfast and groceries, though roadside parking needs to be paid through the GoPahang app from 8am to 5pm. There’s also a state hotel charge of RM3 per night, payable on arrival. Rooms are clean but feel cramped for two, and traffic or people in the back alley can make things noisy at night. Still a decent spot for a short stay.
