The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the price is very affordable for a budget hotel. I only found this place recently, and it's been a nice surprise. Its location is excellent for walking to lots of food outlets, nearby shops and a convenience store. There are a few downsides: the sound insulation isn't great, and a nearby bar can be noisy. Parking can also be difficult at night because bar customers use many of the spaces. There is parking across the road, but it means a short walk. Even so, the area is lively, with an active community, and doesn't feel quiet or deserted.

I chose Bintulu for my first trip to East Malaysia because I like smaller towns that aren't too crowded or touristy. I'm Thai and have worked in KL for four years. At check-in I met Peter, who had a great service attitude and was always ready to help, often doing more than I expected. I'm glad the hotel has someone like him on staff. The hotel is clean and beautiful, and my room was lovely. I'll definitely come back.

Inn86 Bintulu was a good stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff friendly. There are plenty of food options nearby, and the location is convenient.

The large bed was clean, one of the few things I liked about my Deluxe King Room. The room itself felt old and dated, though, and the broken TV screen didn't help. The bathroom exhaust fan was loud and couldn't be switched off, which got annoying. My room faced the back street, where noise from nearby bars came through the poor soundproofing and kept me awake. For a deluxe room, the comfort fell short of what I expected.
