The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made my long work stay more comfortable. I spent 13 days and 12 nights here, and I think the price is affordable and worth it. The room was spacious, the WiFi fast and stable, and the old hotel was well maintained. Breakfast was included, with just one dish, but it helped meet daily needs. And yes, there was a bidet in the bathroom during my stay, though some earlier reviews said there wasn't. There weren't any halal food options or laundry services nearby. The lift was out of order for 2 days during my stay, and there was one water outage that lasted 1 day. Staff sorted that out within 30 hours. I would recommend staying here.

I arrived around 8 p.m. after driving from Kuching, exhausted and ready to rest. The receptionist handed over a key without greeting or smiling, and seemed even more tired than I was. Maybe the owner needs to increase their salary. The room hadn't been cleaned at all, with the bedsheet and towel left on the bed. I wondered if LI Hua expected me to clean it and stay there. When I went down to ask for another room, the receptionist got even angrier. I went out for dinner and returned at 11 to shower, but there was no hot water. I called reception and was told, "ur room hot water broken ehhhhh," then they hung up. I'm surprised the reviews are nearly all so positive, including one saying it should be 5 stars. All lies. The place was dirty, the lobby smelled of urine, and the service was zero star. The photo shows the room I was given at check-in. Not recommended.

The room was okay, but the toilet needs work. It was so dark it felt like a horror movie. Parking is limited, and my access card suddenly stopped working because it touched the NFC on my phone. The place has an 80s hotel feel, from the elevator layout to the appliances. For a cheap price, it might be okay if there's nowhere else to stay. Overall, it's okay as a last choice, lol.
