16celsius at Kea Farm Brinchang

My family and I enjoyed staying at 16 celcius apartment. The place was comfortable and lovely, and the service and management were good. Thanks to Sharifah for being friendly and helpful.

I checked in around 11:30 p.m., and the room still wasn't ready. When I finally got in, it looked like housekeeping hadn't been there, and there was a smell like something had died in the walls. The place felt like an abandoned storage unit mixed with a forgotten motel. The picture says plenty, and I can't really put the disappointment into words. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The room card stopped working, but reception told us to walk to the other building ourselves to replace it. The woman at the desk made a sarcastic comment about whether our day was over, and another receptionist pointed out that we were staying three days. I thought that was rude to say in front of guests. Reception is in a separate building across the street, so even validating parking means going over there. The room layout was odd, too. The partition blocked the cool air from the glass window from reaching the bed, so we slept hot without that airflow. They should make the window slide or turn it into a door. The floor was dusty, and the bathroom mat was completely soaked when we arrived, so we had to hang it on the balcony ourselves. The toilet smelled a bit, though it was still acceptable, and the glass partition had mold, maybe because the hotel is old. If you want housekeeping, you have to call their number yourself. Pressing the CLEAN button on the door didn't get their attention. The Wi-Fi was barely usable because the signal coverage was very poor. If you're lucky, you might connect, since I think the Wi-Fi is in another building.

The location near Kea Farm was the one real plus. I booked 16Celsius Stay expecting the clean, cozy, modern room shown in the listing, but the actual place was old, dusty, dirty, and neglected. The furniture and fittings were worn, and despite the title saying “New,” it was in an old building with poor upkeep. The photos and description felt misleading, and the condition left me feeling cheated. I hope the owner takes the feedback seriously and makes the listing accurate and improves cleanliness. As things stand, I wouldn't recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.
