Agro highlands hotel

For a budget hotel, this is a great choice. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless, with no smell or yellow stains and good water pressure. Towels and body soap were provided, along with an ironing board, kettle, iron, and free strawberry tea. It's also near a mosque, petrol station, and places to eat. Parking is random and you have to pay the Majlis through the Pahang Go app, but there are no ulat 🐛 tickets, which is good. I forgot to take a picture, but I'll definitely stay again on my next Cameron Highlands trip. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It's okay as a budget hotel, but the room is small and not comfortable for praying, and there's no hair dryer. At night it can get quite noisy: you can hear people chatting, dogs barking in the middle of the night, and, on level 4, rain falling on the rooftop. I couldn't get a good night's sleep. Weekend parking was a struggle. You might get a spot close to the hotel if you're lucky, but the parking is usually full at night with guests from other hotels, since there are no spaces reserved for hotel guests.

Parking was a real pain, though if you're lucky you may find a spot nearby. The supermarket, mamak restaurant, and 7-eleven downstairs are handy. I stayed one night with my family and found the bed and pillows comfortable. The hotel also provides sejadah and telekung for Muslim guests, a thoughtful touch from the owner.

It's a good hotel, but on weekends parking is almost impossible. I waited until 11 p.m. to find a spot, and saw some cars still waiting until morning. Once you've parked, it may be better to rent a motorbike.
