Harmony Inn Hotel

The receptionist was easy to talk with, and changing our booking went smoothly. I had reserved a room for three adults, but our plans changed at the last minute, so at check-in I asked to switch to a room for four. I got the change and paid the room rate, depending on availability. The room was clean and big, and it was a good deal. P.S. This budget hotel doesn't have wheelchair access.

We arrived at about 3pm and checked into room 306, booked through agoda. When we came back that night, there was no bathroom light. I complained to the Bangladesh staff member, who only said, “itu wayar sudah rosak.” The room smelled of paint, and the lack of a safety double lock on the inside made us feel unsafe sleeping there. At checkout the next day, we mentioned it again to housekeeping and reception. They already knew the bathroom light was out and the room was still under renovation. We felt cheated and scammed by the hotel.

The location was the one good thing. The water heater didn't work, the walls were moldy, and the pillow smelled bad. There were mosquitoes at night, and be ready to hear street noise after dark. Bad experience overall.

The price is affordable, and the location makes it easy to get what you need, especially groceries. Billion-Centerum shopping mall is only about a 3-4 minute walk, and there are three or four hotels or motels around here to choose from.
