Hotel Casa Dela Rosa

We found this hotel while travelling without a fixed plan, and I'm really glad we did. Its location near Golden Court and the night market made it easy to see local attractions, and it was great value, especially with breakfast included. Our family liked the spacious rooms and the charming, cozy classic interior. The hotel feels a little older, but it's well maintained. Staff were friendly and quick to help whenever we needed anything, which made the stay comfortable. Highly recommended for families looking for space and a convenient spot in Cameron Highlands.

Mr. Siva was wonderful and made us feel welcome, which helped the stay. The reception staff, though, weren't great. We were there for three nights on a road trip and needed to wash our clothes. Booking said laundry service was available, and there was a laundry bag and price list in the room, but reception denied that they offered it and told us, “go do your laundry somewhere else.” They should decide what services they provide and update the amenities. A little more friendliness toward paying guests would help too.

From our balcony we had a nice view of the hotel golf course, and there was a good parking area. The family quad room was spacious, including a massive bathroom. Check-in was quick, and Mr Siva's breakfast service was warm, attentive, and hospitable. Housekeeping staff were friendly and cordial too. Traffic going back and forth can get a bit noisy, but we were out most of the day, so it didn't bother us much.

Mr Siva clearly knows how to look after both the hotel and its guests. He seemed to have managed it for a long time, had lots of Cameron tips and stories, and was so kind to our family. He even took my son around and showed him some local beetles. The whole staff seemed experienced, helpful, and friendly, always smiling. We loved the freshly cooked breakfast. The choices were simple, but everything was delicious. Our triple room faced the golf course and had a lovely view from its large balcony. It was airy and spacious, with strong WiFi, so I could sit out there and get some work done. The shower pressure and hot water were better than at some high-end hotels, and the bathtub kept the kids happy. We stayed two nights with family and loved it. The hotel is dated but in near-excellent condition, with an old-world charm that makes it feel special. We'll definitely be back.
