Hotel Sentosa

I spent a weekday night in a standard room for RM60. The hotel was clean and had Wi-Fi, with eateries, convenience stores, a mosque, petrol station and Centrum Mall all within walking distance. It’s comfortable and budget-friendly. Just be aware that the price doubles or even triples on weekends.

For a discounted short stay, this is good value: the rooms are small but clean, the location is good, parking is in front, and check-in went smoothly. Each room has basic shower gel, a kettle, cups and a TV with Astro channels. There’s a water dispenser on every floor, and the ironing board is only available in the lobby. There’s no lift, and some rooms are on the second floor, so it may not suit people with heavy luggage or elderly guests. I wouldn’t say it’s worth over RM100.

For me, this is one of the better budget choices in Brinchang so far. I paid no more than RM100 for two double beds and a front view. The facilities worked well, and there’s an iron by reception and a water dispenser. It’s a good place to stay, though parking around there is always quite hard to find.

We paid RM180 for one night. The room was clean, but a room for four felt cramped, though luckily there was a small spot where we could pray. Hot water and an ironing board were available in the lobby, but ironing there with a worker at the counter felt awkward. It’s okay for a single night, but I wouldn’t stay longer. The hotel wasn’t awful, just uncomfortable.
