The place wasn't worth staying in, and I wouldn't recommend it. When I arrived, the house smelled unpleasant, including the bathrooms, and it was dirty. There were stains on the sheets and sofa, dirty curtains, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. The beds weren't made up properly either, and neither bedroom had hot water. I reported the cleaning problems, but the service afterward was poor too. The maid washed the bathroom only and didn't bring a mop, so the rest wasn't properly cleaned.

The balcony was dirty and unkempt, so it wasn't a space I could enjoy. Parking was another concern: it was very dark and felt unsafe late at night, with too little lighting and an area that seemed unmaintained. I stayed in a three-bedroom apartment (S2-3A-03) at Playside Residence, and the facilities felt aged. The sofa was worn, uncomfortable, and looked like it hadn't been replaced in years. The whole apartment felt neglected, and it was hard to relax. There were no toiletries at all, not even soap or shampoo, and no mineral water. Water pressure was so low that showering and even washing my hands was a hassle. The place fell far short of what I expected, from the worn furniture and missing basics to the poor water pressure and dim parking. I give it one star and advise anyone wanting a comfortable stay to look elsewhere.

I wasn't sure if these problems were only in my unit, since my family's apartment from play residence was comfortable and didn't smell. My one-bedroom apartment, though, had a horrible smell, apparently from curtains that hadn't been washed in a long time. There was mold on the walls and around the sink, and it was so damp and humid they had put in a thirsty hypo. It was already full of water, which tells you how damp it was. The place needs a deep clean. The balcony was moldy and looked dirty. Other units had outdoor tables and chairs, but mine didn't, and the view was very disturbing because it faced the night market. The toilet was small, with the bowl too close to the door. They provided two towels and shower gel. Parking was free anywhere in the block and close to the lift, but it was dark and quite eerie.

The apartment had the basics covered: LCD TV with USB, electric cooker, rice cooker, refrigerator, hair dryer, microwave, water heater, and a Kiblat direction, which was useful for me. The bathroom heater and gel body and hair wash both worked perfectly. There was no internet, Astro, or breakfast, though, so if you like browsing online from a chair and watching TV, this may not suit you. The ground floor has an Arabic restaurant, steamboat grill, My News, 99 speedmart, 7E and other groceries, easy to reach without getting stuck in traffic. Pasar Malam Golden Hills is within walking distance, and tomyam is a 5 minute drive away. OOTD at mall is 7 minutes by car, Masjid Abu Bakar and Masjid Kayangan are 6 minutes away, and Petronas and Shell are 7 minutes away. Staff were very helpful. There was a little mold on the sink, which should be brushed off once a week, and a nasty cigarette butt on the balcony. I wonder why nobody dealt with it, since it could be a fire hazard. The corridor was lit, and the basement parking didn't feel that eerie because Pak guard was around and made sure you were safe. The place was really relaxing and I'd definitely come back.
