Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur

I've stayed at this hotel several times, mainly because it's beside KL Sentral. The rooms are spacious and the food is generally good. This visit felt extra special: the hotel surprised me with a birthday gift, likely because of my Platinum membership. I also asked to have the bed adjusted, and housekeeping responded promptly and worked fast and efficiently. Shout out to management for a lovely stay.

The lounge is still my favourite part, especially the atmosphere and the food after 6pm. I also tried breakfast for the first time this stay and was impressed by the choices. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and the rooms have been modern and clean, with Malin+Goetz toiletries. I’ve stayed in different room types, though I don’t like the ones that face the office buildings because they feel too close. Getting to the airport is easy since the hotel is right across from the KLIA Express. I’ve stayed here a few times, but the rates can fluctuate and are usually high, so this time I came back because I found a good deal. I didn’t use the pool, but went to the gym twice, along with the sauna and steam room. The shared facilities with Hilton were well maintained and quiet. The walk to the gym is a bit of a downside, and nearer Hilton the WiFi dropped completely, so I couldn’t stream clips while running on the treadmill. I hope I can find another good rate and stay again. I was lucky not to book in Bukit Bintang, since there were road closures that weekend.

Salim, the Lounge Manager, and his young, energetic hostesses made our family staycation memorable. They were warm, professional, and attentive to the little details. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
