Smurf Inn Homestay

The staff at Tabung Haji next door ended up helping us, since the homestay staff weren't helpful. I was trying to get back to Thailand in a hurry, and this whole thing cost me almost an hour, so I wouldn't recommend the place based on the receptionist's service. Someone had parked their car in a way that blocked mine, so we asked the receptionist to find out which room the car belonged to. The first receptionist we met at check-in, a Malay girl, was friendly and helpful. I’m mentioning that because several staff were working, and the receptionist who dealt with the car was someone else. She checked the registration and said the car's plate wasn't registered with the hotel. We asked her to call the guests anyway and see if anyone knew whose car it was. A few minutes later, she said she'd called every room and no one had claimed it. After waiting about 30 minutes, I remembered my car had a camera. The footage clearly showed the car's owner walking into the hotel, so I showed it to the receptionist. Only then did she call one guest and ask him to come down and move the car. She didn't even check whether the plate matched that guest's room. That made it seem as if she already knew who owned it and hadn't really tried to help earlier. Honestly, it felt like she hadn't called the rooms at all and had lied about checking.
