The room itself and the washroom were in rough shape and didn’t look clean. We booked a family room with a queen bed that was fine, but the single bed had a badly sunken mattress. The exhaust fan needs cleaning or servicing, and the pool looked too dirty for us to feel comfortable using it. Breakfast choices were limited. The coffee and tea tasted bad, and the orange juice seemed like cordial. The TV was poor too: I know it wasn’t a smart TV, but even the free channels were unclear. Room service was okay. The char kway teow was good, though the club sandwich wasn’t. We told reception we’d left the tray outside, but it was still there when we checked out the next day. At check-in, one towel had a black stain and the entrance light was flickering. We asked for replacements and the staff dealt with it within minutes, which was good. Still, the overall cleanliness was bad and it wasn’t a good stay. The hotel needs a renovation or makeover.

The room was clean, the toilet was fine, and the water pressure was good. It had the basic amenities, and the iron we requested arrived in a reasonable time. Our room was at the far end of the block, so it was a bit of a walk, but very quiet. We stayed in August 2025. The hotel is next to the rest area beyond the toll exit, and you actually enter through the rest area. I missed the turn and had to make a U-turn at the MITC flyover. Reception staff were very friendly and helped with check-in. Breakfast was so-so, though the nasi lemak and meehun goreng were tasty. The selection seemed fine for a budget hotel. The place could use an update or refresh.

There was nothing special about the hotel, but the place felt scary, especially at night. Around 10:30 pm, some sound seemed to be coming from our room, a family room numbered 2**. It felt haunted, so I checked out right away because I didn’t want anything bad to happen to my family. It was a terrible experience. I won’t come back, and management should make improvements.

So far, it’s okay. The location is very close to the toll, with easy access and parking, and the facilities are good. They just need to provide a hair dryer. Otherwise, all good.

The lady named emylia or emi was very rude and had no manners. Does she know how to smile? For someone in a service role, her attitude and appearance fell short. A smile shouldn’t have to be forced, but please mind your words and be polite. Nobody expects you to smile all day, just to show decent manners.
