Because of unforeseen circumstances, the staff kindly moved us from Parkland Express Hotel to Parkland Hotel, one building away. For a low-budget stay it was decent for a quick visit, and we were fairly satisfied with what we got. Centrum mall was an easy 10-minute walk, and the food trucks and food court right across from the hotel served delicious food. Parking was difficult to find. The room had space to walk and pray, plus a foldable luggage holder. There was a TV, but it had limited channels and wasn't smart. The floors felt greasy and slightly dirty, and the overused toilet could have been cleaned better, though soap was provided. The water stayed very cold even after running it for more than 30 minutes. Staff reset the heater several times before it finally worked. Ironing was on level one, but there was no proper board, just a cloth-covered wooden table. Being there alone at night could feel eerie.

The location is excellent, right in the center of town, and the price is reasonable. The rooms felt a bit small for my taste. Traffic on the surrounding streets can get congested, and parking spaces are limited.

We couldn't check in when we arrived at 1:30 pm, and when we tried to check out at 7:30 am, there was nobody at the front desk to return our deposit. The amenities were average, and there wasn't even soap in the bathroom. Very disappointing, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We booked through booking.com and found the room spacious, with enough room to pray. Brinchang is handy for meals too, with restaurants, a food court, and food trucks within walking distance. For a budget hotel, it felt like good value. Parking isn't provided by the hotel. The spaces belong to Cameron Highland District Council (MDCH), and a day's parking costs RM6.00 using a coupon or PahangGo apps. The TV channel selection is limited, and the room only came with toothbrushes, glasses, and a jug, no tea, coffee, or kettle. The water pressure was really bad.

I was very disappointed that our two rooms were assigned on different floors. The staff's attitude was unhelpful.
