89348 Rg Motel

The staff were really polite and helpful. The room was clean, and there’s a laundry place and a mini market just a few steps from the motel.

The room didn’t feel clean, despite guests being asked to remove their shoes before going in. The towels, bedsheet, and bathroom were all unclean. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, and I hope this helps anyone looking for a hotel in changlun. I’d advise avoiding it at all costs.

The place looks cleaner in the pictures than it is. The wall by the washroom at Fuggus is in very bad shape, with water leakage damage, and the washroom tap leaks too. Maintenance is poor. It’s 2025, please upgrade.

We arrived for the night we’d booked on booking.com, and the receptionist said there’d been a double booking. She told us to contact customer service ourselves and cancel, even though the problem was theirs and they should have cancelled it. I’d paid RM94 for the booking, but ended up giving the receptionist RM130 for an oyo homestay that was very dirty. The receipt she gave me listed only RM120. I still haven’t received my RM94 refund, and I’m going to report this as a scam case to the police. The receptionist was incredibly stupid, and I think she scammed us. Don’t ever go there! 🙂 Karma will hit you 🙂
