OYO 876 Hotel Sanctuary

I left after just a few minutes. The bedroom smelled awful, there were spider webs all over the bathroom, and the wall beside the bed had stains. The floor tiles were so dirty that we couldn’t even shower and change before going out. The soap they gave us was dusty and dirty, like nobody used it. There were only two guys working at the whole hotel, and the air conditioning wasn’t on as we walked in. At check-in, the man at the front desk wasn’t very friendly either. Basic hygiene matters even at a basic boutique hotel. I don’t recommend it at all.

The room felt like sleeping in an abandoned hotel. There were cockroaches everywhere, and the bedsheets had sperm and urine stains. The bathroom door was shattered and patched with duct tape. They hadn’t even cleaned the toilet bowl or wiped the mirror. The reception area had neither air conditioning nor a fan, so the receptionist was sweaty and stinky all the time. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The room stank, like they never changed the sheets. There were no towels, and instead of new soap I got a used bar. The TV didn’t work, and the water from the bidet and sink came out so slowly it was like a piss. I’ve stayed in better hotels for the same price. The one good thing was the air conditioning, lol. You’re cheapskates. I’m never coming back unless it’s an emergency.

The receptionist was very impolite and didn’t seem to give useful advice or act professionally. The drawer was dirty and had lots of trash in it, which makes OYO’s claim that all hotels are sanitized ridiculous. The facilities were incomplete too. I’ve never heard of a hotel not providing toothbrushes, toothpaste, or tissues. Please provide the basic essentials instead of expecting customers to go out and buy them, especially during this MCO when shops close early. A very bad stay.
