New Wave Cyberjaya Hotel

I couldn't get comfortable at night: even with the air conditioning set to 16°C, the room stayed warm. I had requested a non-smoking room, but there was a cigarette pot inside and the smell of smoke lingered. The old mattress and pillows smelled unpleasant, and the thin, worn blanket didn't feel clean or comfortable. Noise made it harder to rest. Soundproofing was extremely poor, and I could clearly hear people talking loudly in the corridor late at night. Then around 5 a.m., strong cooking and chili smells from nearby hawkers filled the room and woke us up, so we couldn't sleep any more. The hotel needs major improvements to its cleanliness, comfort and facilities if it wants to attract and keep guests.

We paid for 5nights, but the room we were given wasn't even at the hotel. It was in a rented shop lot unit on the 2nd floor, with no lift, and the place was dirty and smelly. The room and area were so bad that we booked another hotel nearby, much better than this one, and had to pay for another 5nights there. The staff weren't helpful or friendly. This is the worst hotel ever, not even worth a 1Star Rating. I'm sure the hotel has had many complaints, but the owner doesn't seem to plan on improving it. A loss for me.

The people doing the cleaning and service seemed creepy, and it was so noisy at night I couldn't sleep at all. Worst hotel I've ever seen. What is this??

The price is about what you’d expect, and the location is handy, with KKmart and Econsave within walking distance. The room works well for two, with a queen bed, side table and chair, soap, towels, and a mug. There’s a water heater and air conditioning, and I got the room on Agoda for around RM50. The drink and iron stations are on the first floor. My room was right by reception, so I could hear calls at night because the sound insulation is poor. The toilet also smelled musty. Apart from that, it was fine.
